Glass Measurement
Accurate measurements are important when ordering. The glass measurement is the visible glass area of the window. Measure in several places on the window to ensure consistency. If the measurements vary within 2mm, we recommend using the smallest measurement.

Measure Your Glass
Measure closest to the glass and from glazing bead to glazing bead. NOTE, not from the rubber seal. For angled glazing beads, the measurement is usually slightly shorter than the grid should be, so it is important to select the measurement method when ordering. We may contact you before manufacturing to ensure the correct length of your grids.

Lower Edge Plate
If your window has a lower edge plate, measure from the upper glazing bead down to the top point of the plate, we then subtract 2mm from the height to accommodate the clip. If you have a guide hole in the plate and no raised flange, measure down to the surface where the hole is.

Tips!
It is often difficult to measure an internal dimension. A tip is to place a piece of tape with a marking approximately in the middle of the window. Then measure from the glazing bead to the marking from both sides and sum the measurements.

Use Our Measuring Tool for Accurate Measurement!
We have developed our own measuring tool to ensure the angle of the glazing bead is correctly accounted for. When ordering the measuring tape, specify the angle that matches your window's glazing bead. You will receive a voucher for the same amount that can be used when ordering your grids. Of course, you will receive an instruction manual with your purchase of the measuring tape to ensure accurate measurement.
